How to Install dwarves in Ubuntu 18.04



Install dwarves by entering the following commands in the terminal:

sudo apt update
sudo apt install dwarves

This package contains tools that use the DWARF debugging information inserted in ELF binaries by the compiler. This information is already used by debuggers (e.g. GDB), and more recent tools such as systemtap. . Utilities in the dwarves suite include: . - pahole: finds alignment holes in structs and classes in languages such as C/C++, CPU cacheline alignment.
