How to Install cachefilesd in Ubuntu 18.04



Install cachefilesd by entering the following commands in the terminal:

sudo apt update
sudo apt install cachefilesd

Description:

support fscache on already mounted filesystem

FSCache is a generic caching manager in the Linux kernel which can be used by network and other filesystems to cache data locally. . CacheFiles is an FSCache backend that's meant to use as a cache a directory on an already mounted filesystem of a local type (such as Ext3). This package installs the userspace support required by the cachefiles backend.
